I don't know about you, but I've been seeing those girl scouts selling their cookies and sometimes it's hard to resist. I live by the motto: everything in moderation, however, I know if I bring those cookies into the house, there will be NO moderation about it. 

I give you: Mint Chip Smoothie! I found this in Kelly LeVeque's book, Body Love. It's delicious, nutritious and satisfies that sweet craving. Give it a try!


  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder
  • 1-2 tbsp MCT oil
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups unsweetened nut milk
  • Cacao nibs, for garnish


  • Place all ingredients except the cacao nibs in a high-speed blender and blend to the desired consistency. (Add ice if you like your smoothies extra cold). Top with cacao nibs.
  • ENJOY!
